:::::: James Reipas - "This is not in fashion" ::::::

"This is not in Fashion" is the debut album of James Reipas, Finland
available now on one of Australia's finest independant labels Demon
Tea Recordings [http://www.demontea.com]. It contains almost 74
minutes of melodic and progressive music based on psy-trance beats.
The sound varies from dark moods and twisted tracks like "Sodanmieli"
and "Mannish is Maniac" to the more energetic and dance floor
friendly ones. Not just resting on his musical talents, James makes a
strong statement, as James Reipas' thoughts are expressed loud and
clear between mesmerizing tunes. James' unique sound combined with
impressive artwork and live acoustic guitars makes it a totally
    unique experience! [DTR]

    :::::: Benjamin Niland ::::::

"I've been listening to electronic music since 1995. It was the
German hardhouse/trance sound that caught my attention on such labels
as Noom, Phuture Wax, Plastic City, Time Unlimited. I began buying
vinyl furiously and began writing music on primitive software like
Scream Tracker and later Impulse Tracker. I was constantly trying to
expand my knowledge of electronica. From there I moved onto goa
trance, following artists like Shakta, X-dream, Cosmosis, and
Hallucinogen, to name a few. Then, Jeff Mills came to town."

"Being introduced to techno in that way has changed my life forever."

"It totally influenced my djing and producing. It was a sound I had
never heard before but fell in love with instantly. Writing music
became my main interest in life, now using a better tracker program
named Buzz, I was able to put my full attention into progressing and
evolving my style and skills. These days I also use Fruity Loops, and
Cubase VST to achieve what I set out to do. Since then I have worked
with friends on several projects, namely DJ Switch from Inertia, and
the MC Open-eye, covering styles from breakbeats to techno to
    experimental."

"I have some upcoming releases on a new nine09 Record's techno
compilation due out early next year, named Dark Hours. This will help
me try and make a name for myself in Sydney's, and hopefully in time,
    Australia's, techno family."

"This Sunday I will be playing a varied mix of dub, breaks,
experimental, techno, whatever feels good at the time! And some of my
own tracks. I love to share music with others, and love when they
share it with me. I hope you enjoy my selections this sunday :)"
