    while i do think it's about time to get back to the
    music, music (and any art, really) doesn't exist in a
    vacuum. that is, the music should (and usually does)
    reflect what's happening in the world at the time it's
    made.

    i'm glad that we were allowed to sort through our
    feelings and such w/o any "enough already" posts. i'm
    sure that we'll be seeing/hearing some music very soon
    in response to these recent events.
