You guys heard the new Laswell/Jah Wobble record? heard a couple of tracks
on the radio (hey denise!) - Nice. Don't think it's been released yet -
haven't been able to find the record in stores, anyway.
On the searching tip - I'm a big fan of Japanese dub band 'Dry and Heavy' -
I understand King Jammy has given material from their last two records the
dubbed out echo chamber treatment. Has anyone picked up this disc? Is it
any good?
Also been feeling the Mad Professor + Lee Perry 'Dub take the voodoo out of
ragae' disc and the Prince Far-I 'volume 3'.
On the new skool dub tip, really enjoying the Guidance comp. 'High Fidelity
Dub Sessions' - especially the tracks by 'Dual Tone' - anyone know anything
about these folks? I see only one record on DC Recordings (according to
Google) by Dual Tone - which makes me think it's someone's side-project...
