Except for the sobering fact that none of the 19 who killed themselves were
poor, the beaches of Florida are not particularly oppressive places to live,
all things considered, and their patron, Osama bin Laden, is heir to a
multimillion dollar fortune.
If an evil is recognized, and those who have the power to stop it do
nothing, do they not share in the guilt?
