    JAZZANOVA & KOOP
    Thursday September 5th
    @ Silk CITY

An intimate evening with World Renowned DJ/ Production Collective
JAZZANOVA and electronic jazz fusion maestros KOOP.

JAZZANOVA is a Berlin-based producer collective, consisting of the
Jazzanova DJ-team, Extended Spirit and Kosma. These guys are heavily
into deep jazz and modern beats, which lead their tunes to a stunning
fusion of retrospective music – which shows their roots - and new club
sounds. They have created an individual melodic and
percussion-orientated style, echoing house, d&b, tripHop, brazil, latin,
funk and boogie. The aim of their productions and DJ-sets is, while
oscillating between the different styles, to get the audience involved
into the whole musical spectrum of that fusion.

KOOP come from a universe where Miles Davis never made Bitches Brew,
replacing swing with funk, but instead double basses kept walking and
jazz kept swinging all the way until the sampler arrived to chop it up.
Not electronic music with a touch of jazz, but JAZZ sparingly laced with
    electronics.

Tickets available at CUE RECORDS (4th& South) $10 (This will sell out,
    so don't snooze)
