Hey Nathaniel,
The Madlib rmx of Jazzanova's "Love and You &I" is out on a US 12" on
Ropeadope (licensed by JCR). The 12" also features a cool "Another New Day"
remix by Stereolab and a phenomenal Matthew Herbert remix of the same track
with the added vocals from Ovasoul7 (as heard on the Ursula Rucker album).
An excellent record... it is on import and with a bit of luck you can still
find it around...
If patience permits, all these mixes + the other Jazzanova mixes (Domu,
Jazzy Jeff, Vikter Duplaix, Ian O'Brien etc.) will be out on a Jazzanova
Remixes compilation some time in the future, though this will probably be a
cd-only release. That should be straight up on JCR.
I'm developing a huge fetish for airports, planes and music. Where I live in
London, I can see planes on in-flight approaches all the time and when the
sky is blue and clear, I pop on a chilled record and just enjoy how well it
fits the glare of an aeroplane wing against the blue sky and cumulus clouds.
The "Destination:Out" compilation on Ecco Chamber is excellent for this...

>anywhere ??? it's soo dope!)
>help me ID this one: a female vocal (sounds like Ursula Rucker) saying :
>"Kisses, Day 6, This is, crazy, the way he makes me feel"

>The show also featured a mix by Thievery Corp, which was pretty well done,
