    Lesson "A" - Marketing 101,

Large-Scale demographics.  Your opinion matter no more, nor any less, than that of ANY individual that has an interest in purchasing a product.  Therefore, there is no reason whatsoever that your opinion should be given any more, nor any less, weight or consideration than that of the general public.  In this instance, Mr. Torres is 'Marketing' his product, in this case music.  He is proud of his new singer and obviously of the way that she looks.  I would venture a guess in saying that she is probably very proud of herself as well.  He made NO mention of the singer's looks giving her any more value as a singer, as a woman or as a person.  I'm sure that (m)any of us may concur that the fact that this particular singer has a face that many would consider attractive.  What I DIDN'T know was that having a singer's face associated with the music would people would be turned off to the music itself.  Poor Sade,! Nelly Furtado, Beyonce, N'Dea, Jill Scott, oh poor everybody.  On the flip-side of that coin, the average consumer of music and other pop-culture materials is interested in what they find attractive on some level.  Did you go out looking for the ugliest car you could find, or did you just pick it on it's milage and oh-so-P.C. clean air set-up?  Do you choose clothes hoping that no one will ever notice you?  Did you go to your last job interview in stonewash jeans, white cowboy boots and frosty lip-smacker?  Are you really that...?  As to my masturbatory needs, I didn't get a chance to re-read my e-mail, but I don't think I actually asked to see ANYthing, nor did I assume that the Beach Frolic thing was a photo portraying any form of nudity, I wonder whay you saw a need to mention that the young lady was clothed?  My entire intent was stating the fact that EVERYone on this list and every adult in life has a right to their thoughts, ideas, o! pinions and website photos.  Me, an idiot? NO.  Lacking elequence?  I should say not.  Offended?  Of course not, my life is filled with people who would TRY to have me think as they would or would try to impress their feelings, wants and needs on others.  Espousing opinion as if it were fact.  Even when not asked.  In closing, as they say these days in many areas of Popular and un-Popular - Don't hate.

    Take care and be well,

    Jason (again)

P.S. I don't even necessarily disagree with you, only with the fact that you feel that you are to the LAW on any subject.  Each of us is one of many and only worth what we can offer.  What on Earth puts ONE of us in a position to berate another because we don't like what that person is doing with their time, effort and energy?  Were you personally hurt by the fact that Ricky Torres' new singer might be considered Nice-Looking.  and what is an "Ethnic" type?
