quality 12 inch whose beats are fatter than ja rule's laces.titles like'' by request number 2/obi meets the spaceboys jamming'' are quirky but the two tracks on this 12 very special.....'words & poets'on the flipside contains the same jazz sample(but pitched down...) that Takemura used yonks ago....but its great.Nice pressing aswell.Respects to Soul Seduction and the cuki monster.

One of our favourite labels Gerardo Frisina is on more rolls than a Russian gymnast team.Once again he does the do with a double header of cuban & brazilian fired up dancer to squeeze out the last remnants of summer from a wet n windy british autumn.More blinding than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick !

Been playing on cd for a while and its just come out in Japan on a double vinyl from the talents of Andy Spiller & Alan Barnes.it'S a solid album and one you'll cherish for years to come and file in your 'classics' section.Recommended and extremely lovely.

Nice latin number with a great swell session mix.flip it over and theres a great new track called 'Nine to Five'which you should definetly check.changes direction from deep jazz to a vocal onwards to a pitched up hip hop groove.quirky but cool.

Get your monies worth here boys and girls...4 track ep....Blaze.Wai Wan.Butti 49 and a new edit by KJM themselves.Trust me...its all good !

CD tracklisting is slightly different on the vinyl to the cd but over two slabs of plastic you get....only child,da lata,tonny svensson,leme,mark rae and the superb fantasic deepness which is an absolute delight mix from Nu Spirit of Helsinki.

from the best named label in europe comes an inspired and fresh selection from the vaults of sound engineer jeff nieckau.rough beats from peru and trinidad.his version of 'Think' is ENOURMOUS.respect to Tom for the hook up and we got vinyl at last ! Lead weights on this baby in the box !

Number five in the series from exceptional Records.Pronounced ' Play' and from Sweden with 'Evum' from Arvid and 'a jabo thought' and 'soulset' from Erik who recently had a release out on the mighty fine raw fusion label.Sublime dreamy music from a fine label and bloody marvelous ! hold tight for the album and more things from exceptional in 2003.
16.Sunga T - no reason no rhyme -nicola conte remix - cdr - readymade- japan via bari.
In Japan the original mix has just dropped of No Reason ....no Rhyme.The Nicola Conte remix will follow before the end of the year along with a jazztronik mix (apparently)and if you thought his mix of 'Its You' was dope...wait till you hear this baby.Respects to PY for bringing this back from Bari for my eager ears.Upfront bossa piano and a killer bassline and i have tingles down my spine !

bossa business where both sides go down with more pleasure than a 20 minute shiatsu massage.....nice.

'' Excessive and shameless self promotion is rife SHOCKER !!'' but hey.......someones gotta do it.......Japanese Double album compilation(with 4 extra tracks on cd version ! ) which has some better known Japanese producers rubbing shoulders with some lessa known beauties.Ken Ishii goes detroit,Organ Language & Yukuhiro Fukutomi go broken beat,Bird's instrumental is string heaven and Gagle hit us with some jazzy hipity Hop.Theres the Earth,Wind & Fire'Cant Hide Love'remix by Masters At work (a weak japanese link if ever there was one !! )& elsewhere Mondo Grosso team up with Ellen Mcllwaine for an almost 2 step floorfiller and theres beautiful tracks from UFO (Nobukazu Takemura remix/Osunlade remix)and a great 4 Hero instrumenatal mix from experimental band Shakkazombie.Sir Peter Kruder tells me he loves the Ken Ishii track ....so there !
