    -
Mr Scruff - Trouser Jazz - The new album by Mr Scruff is out now (29th
October in USA/Canada). This album delivers on the promise of the
'Shrimp' single in spades. It features a collaboration with highly
touted homegrown rap talent Braintax on 'Vibrate'. Homelife's octave
defying Seaming To sings on another genre-defying carve up. It's a more
rounded affair with a mix of dancefloor dynamite, some Brazilian
influences..all in all you have a cracking album.

DJ Vadim - USSR: The Art Of Listening -" - out on 23rd sept -
ÖListening" has all of the angular abstractions of Vadim's earlier work,
but here it is combined with a new depth of musicality, a love of bass and
an interest in music and words from around the world. So, alongside UK MCs
like Taskforce and Phi Life Cipher and the cream of US underground
wordspitters like Slug, Gift of Gab, Motion Man and Vakill can be found
    Polish jazz legend Urzula Dudziak

Amon Tobin - Out From Out Where - out on 14th oct - The master is back.
Amon Tobin continues his adventures with the breakbeat on this, his fourth
album. Darker, more complex, even more rhythmically driving and intense
than ever before, this huge record will cement Tobin's reputation as one
of the most innovative and important names in dance music today.

DSP - In The Red - out 16th sept - After a bit of a delay while we were
getting the vinyl version right we now have a proper release date. 'In
The Red' combines the lyrical skills of UK and US emcees going toe to toe
with DSP's heavyweight beats. Favourites from the last LP Mass Influence
& Juice Aleem are back in action, along with old school legend Chill Rob
    G. The album delivers a musical punch that rocks any dancefloor & still
sounds dope when you get home.

    Singles

    Mr
Scuff - Beyond/Champion Nibble - out on 23 sept - this is a tasty little
7" and CD single to tickle your taste buds for the album. It has a new
version of the lovely Beyond featuring Seaming To (Homelife, Herbaliser)
and it backed with a floor storming funk anthem 'Champion Nibble'.

Amon Tobin - Verbal - out on 30th sept - How nasty is Amon Tobin? No,
really. Verbal, featuring the vocal talents of MC Decimal R, starts off
(for all of ooh, thirty seconds) as a beautiful acoustic guitar driven
headnodder. Then the man drops the beat and hell doesn't so much freeze
over as jump out your speakers. Spooky, catchy and irresistibly bleedin'
    great all at once.

The Cinematic Orchestra - Horizon - out on 7th oct - Fresh from the
critical acclaim heaped on the sophomore slow burner, "Every Day," J
Swinscoe and the Cinematic Orchestra return with a dancefloor destroyer
which also stays true to the group's roots in jazz. The uplifting,
conscious lyric and her way of rising above the syncopated maelstrom makes
this a soul-jazz classic in the mode of "Black Gold Of The Sun". On the
flip, PC transforms "Evolution" into the most subtle club tune without
sacrificing the soul of the original.

Hint - Count Your Blessings - 9th sept - In the spirit of love & support
we are now officially 'new best friends' with Hombre Records. The first
single we have joined forces on is 'Count Your Blessings' by Hint - a
wonderful piece of piano led reflective music underpinned with a rock
    solid beat on 10" vinyl.

Donít forget to regularly check out the videos at
http://www.ninjatune.net/videos/ the new DJ Vadim (Itís On) one is already
up and the amazing new Amon Tobin video Verbal will be up soon. The
download section of the site is also well worth checking for free MP3s and
    desktop pictures all for nish.

Ok, thatís about all. Just a quick big up ya chest to Roots Manuva for
getting nominated for the Mercury award for Run Come Save Me a classic
album already. Oh, we've also had word that Steinski's Solid Steel mix has
been (inevitably) bootlegged. While we're not very happy about it, it
means when we release an official version we'll have to make it a lot
better with some extra goodies. And finally look out for a red hot mix of
"Man With The Movie Camera" by The Cinematic Orchestra.
Domu has given it a relick and itís hot hot hot. White labels are out
    there somewhere
