Come revel in the delicious warmth of Indian summer at
a unique waterfront location on Treasure Island. This
day-long affair boasts a top notch line-up on two
outdoor and two indoor areas with UK headliners like
ambient innovator MIXMASTER MORRIS,
the legendary Massive Attack’s DADDY G,
manning the wheels of steel STEVE COBBY of FILA
BRAZILIA, the dubbed out bliss and future breaks of
ex-ROCKERS HI-FI DIFFERENT DRUMMER SOUNDSYSTEM and the
phenomenal 100% DYNAMITE, who will be bringing all
things Reggae on the SOUL JAZZ SOUND SYSTEM which
evolved from the UK record label of the same name. |
Electronica / Nu jazz / House
Latin / Reggae / Dub / Ambient / Downtempo
are also equally represented by local talent such as
Naked Music’s MIGUEL MIGS who will be providing the
soundtrack for New York vocalist LISA SHAW,
rising stars from Oakland, BLAKTRONIKS,
Om Records’ J-Boogie’s DUBTRONIC Science,
Gina & Mei Lwun from SOULSTICE,
the beats and pieces of COUP D’VILLE,
the live electro latin sound of
UBIQUITY RECORDS’ JOHN BELTRAN BAND
the live laptop experience of BROKER/DEALER,
and Reflective Records’ own JONAH SHARP
performing live with Spearhead’s MC, RADIOACTIVE.
And many more of SF’s finest DJ’s
Never before have our favorite Bay Area DJS and
musicians convened on this stunning island for an all
day party – this promises to be a mellow, good time in
the spirit of the UK’s esteemed Big Chill Festival
where all this events headliners have played this
year.
Outdoor Stage. Art Installs. Beta Lounge Bar.
Indie Film Theater. Indoor Dance Venue. Picnic Lawns.
Beer Garden. Food Vendors. Kiddies Play Area.
The promoters of this all ages event plan to make this
a laid back, easy day for all kinds of music lovers.
Parking is limited, and although driving is not
recommended, parking passes can be obtained online for
an extra fee (see below for more information). In
addition to four music areas, numerous local artists
will exhibit their work in and around the Fog Watch
building, where local independent filmmakers will also
present a screening from 2 p.m. – 6 p.m. Children come
free and Parents are encouraged to bring their
children – this is a kid-friendly event with plenty
of fun, outdoor things to do, like the Precita Eyes
Mural Project, which will have a mural in progress for
kids to enhance on a large scale. We’ll keep the kids
happy and amused with a bouncy castle, face painting,
and plenty of enclosed areas for horsin’ around.
We want to create a fun, safe environment for enjoying
music and art in the most beautiful city on earth.
There is lots of lawn area so come join us, lay out
the blankets, take off your shoes, pull out the suntan
lotion, and help launch a tradition that we hope will
continue for years.
Advance tickets are $35 (includes the shuttle from
pier 32)
There are only 500 parking spaces. A parking permit is
$25.00 per car. This is to minimize the amount of
traffic coming off the bridge
