You know, I used to feel the same way. The 700's sound fantastic (they're
hella loud) and they look great on my noggin, but once the little plastic
tube like piece that fits over the swivel mechanism on each side starts to
crack, you're done. There is no way to fix it properly, and without it the
ear cups don't hold their position. I take pretty good care of my stuff, so
its not just me man-handling them or anything. It just seems like this
happens a little too easily. Has anyone else had this problem? (or am I just
smokin' crack)
I saw in a catalog the other day that Pioneer has a new top of the line
model out. Has anyone tried these? How are they? My current pair of 700's
are about done for, and I need a replacement.
