    drumular presence! He was a real heavenly body in the celestial firmament and he never behaved
    like a "star", always the humble drummer for Africa. I have had three occasions at Esalen
    turned into world-class wonders because of the presence and musicality of Babatunde Olatunji
    and I am grateful that I had those experiences and feel blessed accordingly. The rhythm
    section of that Big Orchestra in the Sky just got some real rhythms added to it! There are
    quite a few musicians who owe things to this man and I am sure they will all acknowledge his
    contribution to music!
