Dear friends, aficionados and readers,
The season for Zerogravity is well set for a smashing impact on the Milanese Left side / Nu Jazz scene, we have doubled the bill at B4(www.b4before.it), now we are involved on tuesday as well as saturday , there we play a more relaxed set
with couple of downbeat cinematic tunes...keeping a more attentive eye on electronic music as opposed to the more instrumental/ jazz / broken / rare groovish packed saturday night.
Julien Cafe'(www.julien.it) saw us involved in the opening of the airdresser finding ourselves spinning records while a couple of hot hairdressers where flying around with ceasars shampoo and the lot...unusual!!!
We have also had a couple of special guest appereances from Ganesh(Scenario records) one of the most talented representative of
the Nu Lounge Italian Djeis and Dj Farrapo from Bologna(ex Irma ) spinning a selection of Forro and Brasilian Drum and bass, the guy is one of the most knowledgeable and prime spinner of D&B and Bossa in Italy....in 2002 he did 206 Dj sets...WOW
He has invited us to spin at Notte Vidal in Link Bologna so hope to see yours truly in Bologna.
Last wednesday me(Jazzghisa) and Farrapo did a double bill Julien and C U club hosted by our friends Spirale G for a crowd of joiuos comers, friends and pure music lovers party animals and Djeis....Mr. Bruno Bolla the man behind My Bali thursday nights(Gerardo Frisina, Fila Brazilla) being among those keen listeners.
The web syte is still lagging behind and is not updated often since we are planning to move on to a more official
and better programmed own server.....news still to come.
Lastly we are organising an evening of pure avantgarde....details to come later(or contact directly info_zerogravity_at_yahoo.it )
