Traktor FS 1.5 will have a pitch/lock setting..... with ms.pinky i can do
instant reverse plays etc.... especially with software it's much easier to
implement new functionality as you can also change the user-interface to
    support these new feats....'

one negative thing about bringing a laptop with FS or something similar: you
have to rewire the booth, disconnect the turntables from the mixer
etc....also need a safe but good spot to put the laptop, and you don't wanna
spill drinks on your expansive laptop (although you also dont wanna do that
with CDJ players or turntables ;)

traktor compares to traktor FS in that traktor FS has a basic subset of
traktor studio..... traktor studio gives you additional: filters, EQ,
crossfaders, autogain, on the fly seamless looping, pitch and key locking,
BPM counting, midi control support etc.etc.... as soon as traktor studio and
traktor FS will merge it will be very exciting, especially because of the
seamless looping which works like a charm...

    of course: 2 each his/her own ;)

    peace, Olaf
