I have yet to meet the major label that provides a really good deal to
musicians/artists. ;)
I know of a few artists who would turn down deals with majors because they
prefer the freedom and treatment they receive on smaller labels. They seem
content with the level because they know their audience is never going to be
huge. You can lead a horse...
