Try these for funkiness:
Out on the Tiles (Led Zep III)
The Crunge (Houses of The Holy)
Custard Pie (Physical Graffiti)
Trampled Underfoot (Physical Graffiti) - sounds absolutely nothing like
Superstition by Stevie Wonder...
Hots On For Nowhere (Presence)
Royal Orleans (Presence)

These come to mind. They were a damn fine band (good drummer too). Don't
rate the singer and guitarist too highly though...
