i think that in america techno and jungle can often be offputting as they
are percieved in the mainstream media as being done completely done by rich
white boys with computers. of course this is completely untrue, but i know
of somepeople who said that they had always wanted to go to things formerly
known as raves but were wary being the only black person amongst 6000 white
teenagers. i am starting to see information flow better though and more
bridges be crossed though which is cool - though i think the internet hass
affected "underground" music negatively in many ways i think the increased
communication between musical cultures is definitely awesome.

wordup on the swedish techno tip. i was so close to getting some drumcodes
records over thanksgiving while i was in philly but ended up having to
return them so i would have enough to get home:( at least winter break is
only a few weeks off . related to that does anyone know of some good
hapenings in the city of brotherly love between the 24th and the 3rd? i'm
finally legal and really wanna checkout the nightlife i have been missing.
