Personally, I really liked the Freddie Hubbard Skydive album, there were
also some other great CTI albums by people like Joe Farrell, a great
flautist who, I think, has since graduated to the Great Orchestra in the
Sky. Creed Taylor was definitely on to a certain kind of sound that has an
element of timelessness to it.
