Hey Elson! It DID occur to me that I might like other places better,
surprise surprise. I moved, kind of all-of-a-sudden, because my mom, pop,
and brother are here. 2 of 'em got hospital sick, and the other one's blind.
So, I *had* to come back to help out, and it's taken longer than I thought.

Was it my choice? No. As you say, people choose cities for different
reasons. Phoenix is a great place for old people with arthritis, it's great
for golfers, for baseball fans, for tweakers, for $5 table dances, electric
    slides, Motorola employees, etc...

There is nice stuff about Phoenix... just NOT the music scene from an AJ
perspective, which, unfortuantely for me, is what I'm all about..

Will I be here 3 months from now? Hopefully not. All I'm saying is DJ
Essential had a great setlist.... it didn't go over... Well, being in
Phoenix for close to a year, that doesn't surprise me.

Hell yes, I went to high school there!!!! Of the 2,000 or so high-school
kids I went to school with, I think one is left in Yuma... and he's the
    police chief!

Once again, I agree people live where they live for lots of different
reasons. But I'm just talkin' about it from a club scene. No doubt alot of
people in Phoenix, or Vegas, or wherever, hate New York or SF with a
passion... but then, they probably aren't trying to rock spots with the
Blackbyrds, Lonnie Liston Smith, and Manu Dibango.

Sometimes, when no one's listening, turning it up don't do much good!
