    Depends on what kind of music you do and how you wanna do it...

    I've also heard great things about the Yamaha QY-700. It looks like a laptop,
    complete with a large screen, many have said it's the most elaborate hardware
    sequencer out there.

    Another unit that's popular is the Akai MPC-2000/2000XL, it's a great sequencer,
    and not only that, it also comes with a built-in sampler :)
