It's must now be obvious that I've been shopping at Sonar Kollektiv lately. Went a bit crazy last week because of their low prices and bought a bit too much at once... high or low prices, you tend to spend the same amount of money anyway.
Now, the album by this Berlin singer was a bit surprising. Her vocals are sweet and mellow, but the overall production is electronical and leaning lots towards a harder Jazzanova sound. I kind of like that blend, it keeps it from going too laid-back. Just about right.
