I browsed through amazon's (uk that is) bargin bin, and found plenty of good CDs. JTQ's "Collection" was one of them.
It nice to hear this early acidjazzer again. Quite many years ago I saw Swedish funksters Blacknuss Allstars play the set right before JTQ on a festival and it turned out to be quite embarrassing for the Allstars - JTQ played in a league of their own (I'm being kind now).
This kind of music requires a certain surrounding to be enjoyable. There's something about that Hammond organ sound that just don't work in elevators, ipods or malls. I think this music works in all places where you can hold a gin and tonic while listening.
