Maysa continues on the path with classic soul songs. This take is nice and the album has been spinning a lot this summer. I like it. There's obviously something about her voice, but the song selection is also good.

The 2004 album Smooth Sailing album didn't work at all for me. "Sweet Classic Soul" from 2006 was better but not solid. "All my life" is, by far, her best solo album I think. For me, her best stuff is with Incognito.

Some tracks from the 2002 album "Out of the blue" are also worth looking into. I recently realized I had skipped this album - why I don't know. The track "Friendly pressure" is perhaps my all time favourite Maysa track.
