A surprising setup on the album: Angela writes and produces, and then (mostly) lets guests do the vocals. It is not such a strange or bad idea, since the guests include Rahsaan Patterson, Maysa Leak, Julie Dexter, Eric Roberson, and many more...

In this "Neo Soud" genre this is one excellent album! Even if it is possible to recognize the style from her previous albums and Cooly's Hot-Box days, this feels more like straight-up soul. The 80's soul style is still there. It's only for soul-heads though.
