This month's comp came a bit late because I was away, looking for some inspriration in Berlin. It is no coincidence many of the artists on here speak German.

Jazzanova - I'll post a separate review of their new album in a day or two.
Jukes - sounds just like Kirsty McCall, right?
Ed Motta - one of my old time favs is back with a new album, "Chapter 9". All lyrics are by Robert Gallagher and the sound is more straightforward. Motta is all talent, as you can see in this older clip. The new style and english lyrics should suit a larger audience. I hope so. He's a nice guy and he, like me and all other nice guys, likes his Framboise and Kriek beers...
Nor elle - fantastic tune from an album that sound just like this, all the way.
Uusi fantasia - it's difficult to find good music from Finland. I don't even know where to start looking.
