Soft start in dub land, followed by swedish soul and pop, then some excellent australian new wave. I really looked hard at the new Depeche album and these are from the Deluxe boxset (otherwise nothing, sadly...). I like that Tiga track ("The shoes stay on...") and Dahlbäck's mix.
Tosca - you really cannot select just one song from an album like this. Listening to this kind of dub requires the right mood and time.
Salem - not even close to his debut album, but I still like the style.
Loney, Dear - a big song, imo. I've already played it too much. Close (in sound) to my 2008 favourite, Lars Bartkuhn.
PSB - I'm not quite sure what this track is doing here. I was hoping for something like "Being boring" on their new album but maybe that's too much to ask for. I wished for something extremely sentimental and understated.
Empire of the sun - Excellent voice.
The presets - This is my favourite album (Apocalypso) currently. Absolutely fantastic imo. Did it really take 20 years for New Wave to reach Australia?
