It's all aboout the vocals. Georg Levin might not be a big singer but he has character, and the video really adds to the song. Moderat is a joint project of my Berlin favourites Modeselektor and Apparat. The vocals on Moderat's Bad kingdom are only topped by Stacy Barthe. I'm so into Stacy at the moment, and you should have a look at her EPs "I love you" and "PS. I still love you". "Flawed beautiful creatures" is going straight to my best of 2013 list. Frank Ocean. Jamie Woon has a fantastic voice, as can be seen/heard unplugged here. Same thing goes for Ben Westbeech, top notch. Then, at the end, Berlin-style techno - no vocals there of course.
