Maybe pop is the way go? You suddenly fit 19 tracks into one CD. More music is of course better, and who wants to hear these 8-9 minute remixes that go nowhere.

The highlight this month for me was Phantogram. The album is a bit uneven though. A nice live take and good song on YouTube:
